`ALTER SYSTEM RESET` globally restores the value of a configuration parameter to
its default value. This command is an alternative spelling for [`ALTER SYSTEM
SET...TO DEFAULT`](../alter-system-set).

To see the current value of a configuration parameter, use [`SHOW`](../show).
